The greatest saint in the world

“Who is the greatest saint in the world? It is not he who prays most or fasts most; it is not he who gives most, or is most eminent for temperance, chastity, or justice; but it is he who is always thankful to God, who wills everything that God wills, who receives everything as an instance of God’s goodness, and has a heart always ready to praise God for it.” ~ William Law I resonate with this statement that I read yesterday in “Pursuit of God” by A.W. Tozer, in that as I walk daily in the journey that is this life, I find that when I am most resilient, most awakened and centered in my walk with Christ, most balanced and joyful…is when I have maintained a posture of gratitude towards the Provider, a spirit of thanksgiving is one that produces spiritual fruit. “Freely have I received, so freely I give.” My day to day provision comes from the Eternal Creator, who is continually creating provision and laying out the manna I need to be sustained, each day.
