Yeshua-Jesus is the "icon" of paradox

Jesus is the icon of what Paul in I Corinthians 2:6-16 alludes to as Christ Consciousness--the unitive view of life that 'encompasses paradox'.

He is
  • human-yet divine;
  • heavenly-yet earthly;
  • physical-yet spiritual;
  • possessing a male body-yet a female soul;
  • killed-yet alive;
  • powerless- yet powerful;
  • victim- yet victor;
  • failure-yet redeemer;
  • marginalized-yet central;
  • singular-yet everyone;
  • incarnate-yet cosmic;
  • nailed-yet liberated;
  • in one person solving the great philosophical problem of the One and the many.

Take this an a Christian axiom:
(1) All statements and beliefs about Jesus are also statements and beliefs about the journey of the soul (birth, chosenness, ordinary life, initiation, career, misunderstanding, and opposition, failure, death in several forms, resurrection, and return to God);
(2) All statements about the Christ are statements about the Body of Christ, too. We are not the Historical Jesus, but we are the body of Christ. "Christ" is not Jesus' last name, but is the field of communion that unites all of us with Him.
Thus, we should embody Christ Consciousness, or the Mind/Body of Christ, which also connotes that we personify, or manifest in this life His very attributes and qualities.

  • We know that we are his chosen children/brothers and sisters;
  • We manifest "pity"(or compassion) for our brothers and sisters;
  • We manifest his kindness;
  • We embody humility("It is more important to be loving than to be right".);
  • There is gentleness about our character( we are not looking to judge others every waking moment);
  • There is patience with our fellow men;
  • We manifest the Father's overarching forbearance towards his creation.
  • We "put on Love, Harmony and Peace"...
    • Colossians 3:12-17

I reiterate: The Mind of Christ, the Manifestation of Christ leaves no room for judgmental attitudes or behaviors.

You do not only believe these doctrines, you "know" them. They are real, personal life realizations and experiences. Here, in this abiding, is nothing to prove or disprove, believe or un-believe.

If you go on a sincere inner journey, you know Him for yourself on a transcendent level. This is the abundant life,  the applied gospel.
