The One who forgives

"O humans, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, 
I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind.
O humans, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky, and
you were then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you.
O humans, were you to come to Me with sins as great as the earth, and
you were to face Me, I would bring you forgiveness as great."

Perhaps the single most offensive thing about the traditional church is the judgmental stances of the members, the wholesale lack of forgiveness. This is the most difficult thing about human relationships. 
I am looking in the mirror when I make this statement. I seek to keep score about slights and hurts, not simply counting my blessings and the things that I have been given by grace.
This sabbath I seek to have a heart that forgives and trusts.
May I be open to others and give myself as The Source does, with unlimited forgiveness.

O forgiving, grace giving Creator: through your Spirit, change my heart and open me to others as a forgiving and open hearted man, and not a hard hearted man as my tendency to protect myself from pain and hurt tends to assemble wrongs and slights.
Instead, shape my heart to gather the grace gifts and blessings and focus on those, not on the sins.
By and through the Christ, I pray.

Put some separation between you and your small self/ego. Observe your own behavior, thoughts, actions, motivations. Let the Spirit filter the way you respond to stresses from outside. Expecting God to show up(sic)

*At my church several of our well intentioned staff members have used the above term to describe times when something good happens in a group in which they have been leading or participating...or it will be used as a salutation. I have found it quite amusing that our "leaders" describe their experience with the Spirit in this way. For I believe that God has "shown up" since "in the beginning"--since the earth and fullness thereof, was created.
